Food For Thought:
I know there are so many articles out there that say “only eat when you’re hungry, not every few hours it’s hard on your body.” On the other hand there are many articles that insist “to keep your metabolism up its dire to eat every few hours to keep your body constantly going.” To tell you the truth there is no right or wrong way to work your body, it’s all about trial and error to see what works best for you. I personally start my day off with a huge breakfast, have a healthy snack a few hours later, followed by lunch a few hours later, then another snack a few hours after that. In the morning is also the time when I get most of my water in for the day, by noon I usually have finished about 4 bottles of water. I usually am done eating until about 4 or 5 when I have a small snack prior to working out. After I’m done working out I have a small dinner packed with protein and some sort of vegetable. I tend to be done eating for the day around 6 or 7. However some people just have coffee for breakfast, and then constantly eat all the way through the day up until they go to bed. It’s all about listening to your body, but it’s important to know whether it’s hunger or if it’s dehydration. It is very important to drink most of your water for the day before noon to prevent over eating, or eating when you’re not actually hungry.
