Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

You will need:

1/3 Cup Butter

4 1/3 Cup Flour

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1 Teaspoon Sugar

2 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

1 3/4 Cup Shortening

1 Tablespoon Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Sugar

1 Egg

1 3/4 Cups Chicken Broth

2/3 Cup Milk

1/2 Cup Water

2 Cups Cut Up Cooked Chicken Breasts

1 Package (10 ounce bag) Frozen Vegtables

5-6 Medium Sized Potatoes Cooked and Peeled

Heat butter over low heat until melted.  Blend in onion powder, sugar, salt and pepper.  Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smoothe and bubbly then remove from heat.  Stir in broth and milk.  Place back onto burner and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil it for 1 minute.  Stir in chicken, vegtables, and cooked potatoes.
